Senior Pastor at Broadmoor United Methodist Reaches out for Help After Recent Fire

A recent fire at the Broadmoor United Methodist Church resulted in the total loss of the facility’s business office. It was the 2nd fire in 3 days. A spokesman for the Baton Rouge Fire Department said they ruled the first fire arson. No word yet on whether to 2 fires are related.

Senior Pastor Donnie Wilkinson made a Facebook post yesterday, reaching out for any financial assistance available by way of donations online.

According to the church’s website, they were established in 1955 at the corner of Sharp Rd. and Mollylea Dr. in Baton Rouge. “Over the years, many have found that Broadmoor quickly feels like home and becomes a great place for personal connections and relationships that will last a lifetime.”
