Investigators in East Baton Rouge are currently investigating three separate shooting incidents involving seven victims, one of which died.
The first incident occurred Sunday night in Baton Rouge. Police say 27-year-old Freddie Thomas was shot to death on Henderson Ave. around 11 PM Sunday. Police have no motive at this time.
Around 2:30 PM Monday, Baker Police were called to Burgess Drive in regards to a shooting incident where four people were struck. No word on the victims’ condition, however, the Baker Police Department reports that all of the shooters involved have been taken into custody.
Monday afternoon around 4 PM, Baton Rouge Police were called to the corner of N. 38th and Winbourned relative to two people who were shot while inside of a car at that location. L’Jean McKneely, a police department spokesperson, says the two men were transported to a local hospital with gunshot wounds. He said one of the victims is in critical condition. Police have no motives and no suspects at this time.
