Sgt. Don Coppola said that Baton Rouge Police Detectives are investigating the death of Jarvis Mabry, 31 of 2528 Gates Circle. According to the report, Mabry was found in the driver’s seat of a vehicle this morning around 2:45am in the 1700 block of Chippewa Street. Baton Rouge Police Detectives are investigating the shooting death of Ryan Hord, 41, Richland Ave. According to reports, last evening at approximately midnight, Hord confronted a vehicle burglary suspect near his residence, and gunfire was exchanged.
